Texas educators are required to implement the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) across all content areas. However, these standards are complex, featuring dozens of proficiency level descriptors and cross-curricular strategies that can be difficult to navigate in the heat of classroom instruction.
I developed the ELPS Online Helper as a mobile-first pedagogical toolkit. It provides instant, categorized access to descriptors, sentence stems, and scaffolds, allowing teachers to differentiate instruction in real-time.
